Cheese, beer & mead night

24th September 2022, 6pm-9pm

An evening to tickle your taste buds!

Local cheese-maker Mark Rodgers, of Cheese on ‘Towcest (possibly the most enthusiastic man in the world about cheese!), is going to bring us some of the best UK artisan cheeses and tell us the stories behind their creation.

He will pair each cheese with a local brew that we have selected:

-A Pilsner lager from Nene Valley Brewery, Northampton

-A stout from Three Hills Brewery, Woodford

-A special edition IPA from Avalanche Brewery, Kettering

-A mead from Bearly Organised, brewed here at Elliotts’ Rectory Farm!

Cheese clearly needs a chutney, and these will have been made by us, here at Elliotts’ Rectory Farm! In addition, Manor Farm Microbakers, of Hannington, will be supplying their sourdough bread, foccacia and sourdough crackers. Basically, it will be a locally sourced feast and you won’t leave hungry!

This small, select, event is being held in Brew Barn, with only 30 tickets available. You will be at tables seating 6 people, so be prepared to discuss your love of cheese with folks you don’t know, unless you book a whole table!

Tickets are £30 per person, including parking.
