Whether you’re planning to drive to visit us from far away or come for a stroll across the fields from one of the nearby villages, we’ve got you covered with maps and directions below.

Directions by Car

We’re situated just a short distance from the A43, inbetween Northampton and Kettering. If you’re coming from either the M1 or the A14, below are some directions which will lead the way.

Coming from the M1/Northampton

  • Leave the M1 at Junction 15a and take the A45 towards Kettering
  • Continue on the A45, taking the exit for the A43 towards Kettering
  • Continue on the A43
  • Once past Moulton turn into the 4th entrance on the left after the roundabout where the dual carriageway becomes single carriageway again (by Overstone Gate estate)
  • The entrance is on the left, directly opposite a green footpath sign. There is a white Rectory farm sign on the left, just after the entrance, and a reflector post just before it.

Coming from the A14/Kettering

  • Leave the A14 at Junction 8 and take the A43 towards Northampton (Don't get confused by the A43 towards Corby, at Junction 7)
  • Continue on the A43 to the Holcot-Sywell roundabout (approximately 7.5miles).
  • The farm entrance is the first on the right, directly opposite a green footpath sign.
  • We recommend, however, that you go past the entrance to the Overstone Gate roundabout 1/4 mile further on, turn around at it and approach the farm from the left.

Directions on foot

  • From Holcot- the footpath starts on Back Lane, just down from the War memorial. There are a few stiles.  It takes approximately 20 minutes.
  • From Moulton- the footpath starts on Overstone Road, opposite Prince of Wales Row. There are several stiles. It takes approximately 35 minutes.
  • From Overstone, it is the first footpath on the right as you head into Overstone from Sywell. (There is another footpath starting further along the Sywell Road that will get you there, but it involves walking along the A43, which isn’t fun).  There are no stiles on this route but you have to cross over the A43.  It takes approximately 20 minutes.
