The electric in the cabin is all solar-powered.  A lot of maths (by an expert!) went into calculating how it could be done. A dishwasher had to be sacrificed.  Kettles have to boiled on the gas hob and toast has to be cooked under the gas grill. An iron is available, but it needs so much power the lights might flicker if you use it! (That’s our excuse for not ironing sheets and we’re sticking with it!).

The appliances and light bulbs have all had to be super-duper energy efficient.  The washing machine is so quiet you only remember you put a wash on when the cabin vibrates! Once you get in the habit of turning off lights whenever you leave a room you soon take solar power for granted!

The cabin can sleep 4 people. The main bedroom has a super-king size bed that can be split into two single beds if needed. The sitting room has a super comfy king size sofa-bed.

Dogs are welcome in the cabin and the fenced garden separates the cabin from Glamp Field.

Put your feet up and watch the sheep and cattle grazing from the widow!
